Themed Wedding Linens!
Choosing a theme or a color scheme for a wedding can be a very difficult process. While white is traditional, there is still the matter of figuring out what the accenting colors are going to be. If you do not want to have a traditional white wedding, then you need to do even more creative work.
Weddings inspired by the Victorian era are very popular because of the romance novels and costume dramas associated with the time period. In addition, it was a time of elegant decorations and long, complicated dresses, a trend that is still evident in modern weddings. This can be accomplished through deep burgundy tones in layered tablecloths, styled much like the dresses back then. Large amounts of flowers and bows on the chair covers would also look very nice.
Trying to design all of these things by yourself can be very trying, especially if you have invited a lot of guests. If you do not wish to extend that amount of energy, you can go to a wedding table linen rentals or chair cover rentals place that will provide you with wedding linens for a certain price.
Fairy tales are also a popular wedding theme, probably because of the “happily ever after” type stories that have been imprinted in the human mind ever since childhood. The type of elegance that goes along with fairy tales is different than the type of elegance that is associated with the Victorian Era. The Victorian Era is much heavier; it has darker colors and a more realistic tone. Even fairy tales that haven’t been turned into cartoons still have the light pastel tones that we associate with Disney princesses.
Because of the lighter color scheme, the fairy tale theme is much easier to fit in with white linens and a white wedding. The chair cover rentals and wedding linens (either self made or from wedding linen rentals San Diego) can involve pastel colors with satin, cotton, or gauze bows. Bright spring flowers can be incorporated into the decorations quite easily, it is advisable elegantly tuck a flower and a ribbon into every crevice physically possible.
In fairy tale themed weddings, it is also a good idea to have light fairy themed foods. This will be more difficult during the actual meal, for most of your guests will be very hungry at that time and have no tolerance whatsoever for fresh fruit and honey. Desserts and drinks can be much more fun though. Try having a nice array of sticky sweet fruit juice for the children and dessert wines for the adults. Dessert itself can be fluffy cakes, sweet little tarts, and various small fruity fluffy silky things with a little bit of chocolate.
Beach themed weddings are a good option if you want everyone to be able to relax in the sun and swim in the water. The guests can be allowed to wear light cotton dresses and crisp collared shirts instead of heavy fancy clothes. The wedding linens should be simple, but getting a place for chair cover rentals San Diego in order to accomplish the elegant chair covers would still be a good idea, for typing large bows around the backs of chairs is a bit of a chore.
The tablecloth can be light but good quality cotton. Instead of having full fledged chair covers, wire or basket weaved garden chairs embellished with large chair cover ties and pretty flowers or seashells will add a fancy but laid-back flair.
Big umbrellas are a good idea, and a floral display with a wide array of seashells would match the theme perfectly. If the guests go into the water, they are going to need towels in order to dry off. Be sure to have a clothesline for these towels so they don’t get gritty and sandy when discarded.
